Description

As the VP of Cloud Finance, you’ll be an integral part of the operational leadership teams responsible for our fast-growing SaaS businesses. A successful leader in this role will develop and lead a global finance team, be a strong cross-functional collaborator, an outstanding communicator, and a strategic thinker.

We are looking for a SaaS focused finance leader who has FP&A top of mind as well as metrics & GAAP accounting, and who has the experience to help our subscription business units through significant growth stages. This role focuses on, but is not limited to the following responsibilities:

• Prepare internal reporting packages and presentations that illustrate a well-thought-out story that is backed by strong data points and metrics.
• Lead collaborative conversations with business unit management that drive growth and/or margin/profit improvement.
• You own your SaaS metrics — MRR, Churn, ARPU, PEPM are the things you think about every day.
• Proactive approach to identify areas to improve the efficiency of your team and the Company, including complex billing, reporting, payments, and revenue recognition.
• Data is top of mind as well as forward-thinking strategies for increasing revenue or reducing costs. Including the ability drive improvement by providing a business case for changes in pricing, packaging, upsells, or cost savings.
• Lead/enhance/mentor a global team, including being willing to work side-by-side with your team while balancing the need to work on strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• 20+ years software industry experience including 5 years or more supporting a subscription business with size and scale (~$250M plus in ARR).
• Experience working as a business partner to operational groups (e.g. sales/marketing, service, Cloud, Engineering organizations).
• Experience with sales and service compensation plan creation and administration. Proven ability to align compensation plans to business goals and objectives in a high growth subscription business.
• Ability to lead, influence and drive priorities at the senior level as well as build relationships and collaborate across all levels of the Company.
• Demonstrated experience in effectively helping automate to increase productivity, reduce errors, and retain happy customers.
• Strong operational orientation with excellent business modeling and analytical skills.
• An undergraduate in finance/accounting is required, MBA or CPA preferred.
