Training Specialist – New Hire Onboarding Programs

Kronos is looking for a Training Specialist to support our New Hire Onboarding program for the Technology, Operations, Product, Support (TOPS) Organization.

In this role, you will be part of the Technical Training team and will responsible for the coordination, communication, delivery and evaluation of the monthly new hire on-boarding program and supporting other technical training team initiatives. The programs goal is to help new hires assimilate into the Kronos culture and make new connections. The ideal candidate will bring strong knowledge and background in learning and development, training facilitation, curriculum development and program/project management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, improve and facilitate TOPS new hire on-boarding product training to both onsite and remote audiences
• Connect and maintain relationships with people managers and product speakers to maximize attendance and program quality.
• Ongoing evaluating of learner experience and modify as required to meet objectives of the program and business needs
• Work closely with US team to maintain all digital content related to on-boarding programs and deliver via LMS
• Deliver on-boarding in various media, including recorded, remote and live with engaging style, using stories, and activities for an interactive experience
• Drive employee satisfaction and continually develop skills to improve delivery and on-boarding methods
• Collaborate cross functionally and geographically with US team to develop and maintain all aspects of the onboarding programs
• Remain current on new products, industry trends, and new employee on-boarding needs
• Monitor, measure and evaluate to ensure program success
• Provide reporting that measures programs success, Creating dashboard
• Perform administration tasks to support onboarding activities and operations
• Develop and manage functional on-boarding programs for TOPS organization
• Support technical training team with ongoing training initiatives and other duties as assigned.


Required Skills

• Skilled at developing engaging content using MS PowerPoint
• Proficient with MSO365 and Sharepoint
• Skilled at developing reports using Excel
• Exceptional facilitation skills adaptable for virtual and traditional classroom or a combination of both.
• Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
• Strong interpersonal skills & proven success in cross cultural collaboration
• Strong technical aptitude as it relates to training and delivery tools
• The ability to self-direct as circumstances change and priorities shift, based on organizational needs, without constant oversight
• Comfortable working in a fast paced and changing work environment
• Coachable open to feedback and dedicated to constant self-improvement.


• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant job experience
• Certified Train the Trainer
• Minimum of 4 plus years as a trainer/facilitator in a SaaS environment preferred
• Experience delivering training in both a virtual classroom and a traditional classroom is required
• Experience with content development and authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline and Rise an asset
• Experience in creating dashboards is an asset
• LMS (Cornerstone) experience an asset but not required
• Travel required
