Exciting opportunity to be part of the Business Transformation Team, supporting the onboarding of the Technology, Operations, Product & Support organization’s new hire employees. The Onboarding Training Specialist is responsible for the coordination, communication, delivery and evaluation of the monthly new hire onboarding program. This position will report to the Manager, Business Transformation.
To be successful in this role, the Onboarding Specialist will work with people
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, improve and deliver TOPS onboarding product training to internal audiences
• Ongoing evaluating of learner experience and modify as required to meet objectives of the program and business needs
• Maintain all digital content related to on-boarding programs and deliver via LMS
• Deliver on-boarding in various media, including recorded, remote and live with engaging style, using stories, and activities for an interactive experience
• Drive employee satisfaction and continually develop skills to improve delivery and onboarding methods
• Collaborate cross-functionally and geographically to develop and maintain all aspects of the onboarding programs
• Monitor, measure and evaluate to ensure program success
• Perform administration tasks to support onboarding activities and operations
Required Skills
• Engaging content development skills using MS PowerPoint
• Exceptional facilitation skills adaptable for virtual and traditional classroom or a combination of both.
• Strong technical aptitude as it relates to training and delivery tools
• The ability to self-direct as circumstances change and priorities shift, based on organizational needs, without constant oversight

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant job experience with minimum of 4 plus years as a trainer/facilitator in a similar environment (which may include 2-3 plus years specific training and/or experience in Instructional Design/Delivery)
• Experience delivering training in both a virtual classroom and a traditional classroom is required
• Experience working with virtual classroom tools and technology is required
• Experience developing engaging content using MS PowerPoint
• Experience with content development and authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline and Rise an asset
• LMS (Cornerstone) Administrator experience an asset but not required
• Must be flexible, adaptable and have the ability to work in teams or alone, influence changes, manage multiple commitments, demonstrate high attention to detail, and meet tight deadlines
