Kronos' Cloud Infrastructure Team is seeking a seasoned Tools Engineer capable of integrating into an experienced team responsible for the day to day support, administration, maintenance and deployment of monitoring and automation Tools
infrastructure in our hosted production environment.

The position requires practical hands on knowledge and a thorough understanding of monitoring, utility services and automation tools such as Splunk, CyberArk, Application Performance monitoring solutions as well as PowerShell, Bash etc. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
•Provide production operational support
•Support ticket / queue management
•Provide for Tools deployments, configuration, support and upgrades of Monitoring and Automation services and solutions.
•Assist users of these tools in development of work place efficiency and process flow development
•Performance monitoring and tuning the environment to achieve high performance
•Support capacity and growth of the environment.
•Manage and contain business risk as it pertains to the Cloud network infrastructure.
•Assist in the development and implementation of standardized IT practices and procedures.
•Collaborate with Corporate IT, Technical Operations, Platform and DBA teams to assess future growth and capacity requirements.
•Documentation development in the form of basic How to documents, Design documentation, Performance and Reporting as well as Operational procedures.
•Support and work within the ITIL support structure for Change, Problem and Capacity management
•Participate in 24x7 system support rotation and handle escalations in a high pressure environment


•BS/BA degree in Business, Information Systems or Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years related work experience.
•2 years of experience within a Services Hosting, SaaS, enterprise ECommerce or Cloud environments
•Thorough understanding of various monitoring & automation Tools: Splunk, SMTP, Application Performance, Synthetic/Real-Time, PShell, Ansible, CHEF etc.
•Ability to develop and document business processes
•Proven ability to understand complex business issues and align communications strategies and outcomes accordingly
•An ability to assess the severity and priority of multiple incoming inquiries from management, customers and internal employees
•Demonstrated capacity to lead under pressure, make decisions in ambiguous situations, and drive cross group consensus in short periods
•Ability to work well inter-personally cross group and cross-discipline at various levels up through executives, as well as influence and manage without much direct authority
•Ability to communicate effectively emphasizing written and oral presentation skills.
•Good at building, cultivating team work and mentoring.
•Familiarity with ITIL processes would be an advantage
