Fixed term contract to April 2020

Responsibilities include:  
- Taking ownership of customer calls to point of resolution or escalation
- Preparing cases for escalation to second line support/engineering, and maintaining the relationship with the customer until issue is closed
- Recording the details and solutions of cases for future reference., and ensuring customer records are kept up to date
- Utilising the internal knowledgebase help solve problems and contribute new information for future reference
- Alerting management of any situation trends: for example: repeating faults that lead to repeated fixes, etc.
- Contribution to Knowledge base


In line with the responsibilities above, you will have experience providing application or technical customer support for a complex web based application:
- The ability to manage multiple tasks of varying complexity to completion with minimal supervision
- An understanding of relational database concepts.  Experience of basic database administration along with writing, running and troubleshooting basic SQL scripts would be an advantage
- An understanding of web technologies such as Java/XML, MS IIS, HTML
