This position is responsible for the day-to-day processing of all sales and use tax functions, reporting to the Tax Director.
• Oversee and co-lead with the Tax Manager of our dedicated tax shared services team based in Noida, India, the transaction tax operational compliance, which includes preparing and reviewing US returns for accuracy.
• Manage US personal property tax and audits, and other non-income-based taxes including business license filings.
• Assist with and lead sales and use tax audits and tax notices for all US entities.
• Review monthly tax accruals and effectively analyze general ledger account activities.
• Research sales and use tax statutes, regulations, and court rulings.
• Work with various Kronos teams, leading process efficiency projects and documentation.
• Actively engage internal and external partners to answer tax queries and provide timely and accurate advice on transaction tax matters.
• Improve the end-to-end indirect tax process, from customer contract set-up to closing of tax authority audit.
• Be the Tax Department’s single point of contact on all matters involving Sabrix, our sales tax system and tax-exempt certificates
• Assist in other accounting-related matters as needed.


• Minimum of 3 years sales/use tax compliance, audit, and research experience.
• Strong knowledge of sales and use tax laws, particularly with software companies.
• Prior experience in managing sales and use tax audits, conducting research, and supporting tax recovery opportunities.
• Public accounting a plus.
• Knowledge of Sabrix and Oracle a plus.
• Microsoft Office with a strong skills in Excel
