- Assist with preparation of schedules for corporate US federal and state income tax returns.
- Responsible for meeting all required deadlines
- Maintain current knowledge of all US tax laws affecting the company
- Assist in the preparation and documentation of federal and state tax audits
- Assist with process improvement projects
- Prepare reports and assemble workpapers to assure that completed tax returns are stored and saved in accordance with company policy and procedures.
- Work closely with Corporate Tax Department and be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the tax department.
- Assist with preparation of US GAAP based income tax provision
- Review journal entries
- Scrutinize tax related general ledger activity
- Assist with US sales and use tax return preparation


- 1 to 4 years of relevant work experience in finance / accounting
- Minimum 3 years work experience in US tax processes
- Public accounting or private industry experience
- Knowledge of OneSource Income Tax and Tax Provision software
- Demonstrated ability to prepare federal and state income tax workpapers
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of general ledger systems (preferably Oracle)
- Prior experience working remotely with a US multinational company would be a plus
- Must be able to work with a high level of accuracy and meet deadlines
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Self-motivated individual with extreme attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to assume additional tax related responsibilities as necessary
