We are currently seeking an experienced Strategic Sourcing Analyst to join our Strategic Sourcing team. This position will provide strategic sourcing support to the senior manager of strategic sourcing along with designated internal stakeholders in addition to serving as a key contributor to all phases of the procurement process. This includes spend analysis, marketplace research, preparation of RFx events, price and contract negotiations, contract management and supply chain management. Detailed Responsibilities/Duties:
• Understand and be able to execute delegated steps of the sourcing work process in accordance with organizational processes.
• Participate on cross-functional teams involved in supplier discovery.
• Assist in the identification of innovative supplier solutions as necessary.
• Execute the sourcing process by developing, negotiating, implementing, or sustaining contracts consistent with business requirements.
• Perform in-depth analysis of key supplier markets as delegated by the sourcing managers
• Support and execute project tasks in an efficient and timely manner; achieve timeline and desired results by effectively and efficiently prioritizing tasks and projects
• Analyze data including supplier price and cost models, identifying spend trends and creating total cost of ownership models
• Maintain and track sourcing database(s) to ensure reporting is accurate; identify upcoming expirations and renewals
• Process Purchase orders
• Support I-Procurement users
• Process supplier registration requests
• Stay current on software and services space including Licensing, Software as a Service
• Conduct periodic market analysis of rates and other commercial terms
• Negotiate new agreements and SOWs in support of key sourcing areas


Required Qualifications:
• Effectively communicates ideas in written and verbal communication
• Strong analytical skills
• Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Ability to multi-task various projects and achieve timely results by effectively and efficiently prioritizing tasks and projects
• Must be results oriented
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Team player with ability to work with cross functional teams
• Able to project authority in group settings
• Ability to express personal point of view in a constructive and direct manner
• Strong influencing and networking skills as the organization relies on working in cross functional teams
• Ability to present data in an informal and formal setting
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• 5+ years of experience in Indirect Sourcing
• IT Technology experience a plus (Hardware, Software, IT Security, Telecom and Networks)
• Knowledge of IT vendors and new technologies
• Oracle E-Business and Ariba experience a plus
• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university
• The candidate will need to have interpersonal, communications and problem-solving skills. They should display a passion to make an impact as part of the sourcing team and a desire to grow professionally within the strategic sourcing field.
