Sr. Program Manager, Services Business Transformation

The Program Manager (PM) will be a core member and contributor to the Global Services Operations team and will manage key initiatives and strategic projects focused on organizational effectiveness and efficiencies aligned with the Kronos Professional Services strategy. This individual will have significant responsibility to manage and/or oversee complex work streams including developing strategy, implementation plans and leading execution to drive operational effectiveness. The PM will manage cross organization engagement and collaboration across many business functions and at all levels of the organization. Partnering with the Executive Sponsor to achieve program objectives, the Program Manager is responsible for managing the program/project success through establishing project plans/timelines, conducting meetings, documentation of next steps, tracking overall progress, issues and risks and ensuring deliverables are completed. Communicating program actions, information and status is another critical responsibility.

The resource will be the glue that brings teams together to ensure key strategic initiatives/projects achieve their full effect. The role is not expected to be an expert in all functions but must have the confidence, resourcefulness, adaptability and flexibility to manage stakeholders to advance a program/initiative to achieve its objectives. Specifically, this role requires superior problem solving, communication, change management and collaboration skills. Facilitating discussions to identify, analyze and resolve issues and drive required actions and deliverables are critical skills to being successful in this role. This is a remote based position.

Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as project manager on select strategic projects
• Lead the program/project team and oversee/manage overall portfolio of identified projects
• Develop/support overall project/initiative management methodology, process and standard framework
• Monitor and report progress against program objectives and goals
• Identify issues and risks; initiate corrective actions and mitigation strategies as appropriate
• Serve as an important escalation path; interact with stakeholders and manage relationships as needed
• Communicate regularly and effectively with all stakeholders, within the team, within the organization, and beyond; Manage and facilitate program and cross-organization meetings.
• Responsible and accountable for the coordinated management of multiple program workstreams as needed.
• Manage and resolve dependencies between different project workstreams or projects.
• Be responsible for program quality and embed quality processes into the program
• Report overall program status to the steering group at regular intervals and on an ad-hoc basis
• Develop governance, reporting, communications and operational policies for initiatives to ensure alignment with overall transformation efforts.

Qualifications

• BS or MBA in Business, General Management
• 7-10+ years of progressive, cross organization program management skills managing highly visible, large-scale, strategic initiatives
• Software industry experience with an enterprise products company and experience managing business transformation programs a plus
• Knowledge and/or experience in general business functions such as sales, services, operations, finance, etc.
• Forward looking with a holistic approach to solutions
• Acute business acumen and understanding of business organizational issues and challenges
• Excellent skills in Excel and PowerPoint
• A "go-getter"- an intrinsic ability to get things done and deliver results
• Strong track record of managing large-scale projects or programs in rapidly changing, pressured environments (with teams based in multiple locations) to successfully deliver business benefits within specified timescales and budget.
