This position will lead Record to Report and Tax & Treasury organization in the Finance Shared Services.The role will stabilize the existing Record to Report,Tax and Treasury processes, while effectively leading & expanding the scope of the delivery teams that are already in place. The leader in this role is expected to collaborate with teams locally and globally including but not limited to Corporate Controllership function, Tax & Treasury functions as well as with Statutory & Compliance firms. The person would also work with other Finance Shared Services functional leaders and Global Process Owners in meeting service standards per SLAs.

The position will be based out of Kronos Noida office, will report to the Director of Finance Shared Services based in Noida and will operate during 11:30am IST to 8:30pm IST.


Primary Responsibilities ᅠ
• This position will oversee and direct the performing of various activities viz. general accounting, period end close of books including Year-end close, Approval of Monthly Journal Entries, Review of Financial Statements, Compliance on Direct/Indirect Tax and other Statutory matters. Lead the statutory audit for all entities while partnering with relevant audit firms and ensuring timely and accurate filings
• Be convergence point for Treasury related activities w.r.t to the entities controlled
• Drive Controllership for all International regions (EMEA/APAC), w.r.t Costs (including payroll), Revenue (support local Revenue/FP&A), Capex (Depn) and Cash forecasting processes. Work towards the financial system integration, automation and digitization of financial reports with various sub functions
• Collaborate across different functions including with Global Process Owners in building internal control guidelines and procedures for activities across the teams including sub ledger teams
• Drive process improvements, standardization and optimization in collaboration with other teams including Systems and utilizing innovation forums. On ground operationalization of the GPO and FSS leadership vision.
• Develop and establish a service management culture by embedding service standards, KPIs and SLAs as part of performance standards. Measure and report GL Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) on a timely and accurate basis such as Month end closing activities, Compliance calendar, Balance Sheet reconciliations, Sales & Use Tax Filings compliance, Income Tax Filings Calendar
• Own and maintain process documentation including standard operating procedures, training materials and exceptions records
• Responsible for Staff engagement and growth strategy including training, career development and other interventions. Building & nurturing talent across the 20+ member team while driving process excellence alongside would be a key priority of the role

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant preferably CA, ICWA or Full time Masters in Business Administration from premier institution with more than 15+ years of post-qualification experience
• Experience in Captive Shared Services or BPOs with Knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, SOX, General ledger, finance and accounting processes
• In-depth knowledge of RTR E2E business processes and hand-offs and dependencies with PTP and OTC
• Ability to analyze information, diagnose problems / issues and resolve in a timely and simple manner
• Strong leadership skills, ability to mentor and groom teams and drive high performance culture
• Very strong communication, presentation, influencing and interpersonal skills
• Strong business acumen; ability to engage with all levels of the organization for process improvement and reporting
