The role of "Solutions Architect" requires the knowledge and skills that are both broad and deep. The Solution Architect (SA) is a business process focused expert that leads the design of the solution and is responsible for interacting business processes with the strengths and capabilities of the Kronos application to provide overall optimised solution for the customer. The SA must be able to communicate ideas both verbally and in writing at all levels in the organisation, from executive staff to technical resources. The right person for this role is a strong partnering resource that can work across organisations, cultures, languages and resources to drive a solution forward. The SA will work with the Kronos Project team and customer to document the overall solution and ensure it will meet the scope and customer expectations. This person will work strategically with the Sales and Service representatives to ensure a successful project, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
• Provide an end-to-end process focus to ensure the solution achieves the client’s business goals. Lead the customer to design processes that align with the strengths and capabilities of the solution they have purchased.
• Build and maintain relationships with Sales and Service Representatives
• Participate in pre-Sales activities when required
• Document customer’s business needs and convert those into Produce Design Documents to be configured by an Application Consultant or Integration Consultant.
• Provide oversight to ensure configuration work is meeting the design requirements that you documented to ensure successful product configuration
• Responsible for ensuring all resources are working towards the same design guidelines.
• Lead the team to ensure that the design is looked at holistically and the design is meeting business requirements based on success criteria and the reasons for the purchase. In addition, create an overall process and solution design.
• Process Optimisation – deliver to the customer as an added value, will not just understand what they need but will help them to do things the “best way”
• Promote internal Kronos intellectual capital by producing internal white papers as well as presenting at Seminars/workshops, etc.
• Participate in Kronos Product Development initiatives with Corporate Engineering
• Influence and partner with internal and external stakeholders including 3rd Party Partners to ensure success
• Act as the trusted Advisor, which includes strategic roadmap discussions and new revenue channel plans.
• Expert in the different integration points of the products. Lead the project team to ensure that best practices are followed.
• Play a role in the sales to service handoff. Lead consultant for any project they are involved in and look for efficiencies within the design/implementation.
• Responsible for mentorship, internal training and/or implementation support activities or internal development projects.
• Prepared to be the Kronos lead in Client solution escalations working closely with Kronos PMs and Practice Managers

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree BS/BA degree in Computer Science desirable
• Proven experience in a related field
• Strong consulting skills
• User Adoption and Organisational Change Management appreciation
• 5 years expertise in a minimum 3 of the following products (WF Timekeeper, WF Scheduler, WF Activities, WF Analytics, WF Task Management and WF Forecaster)
• WFD Education complete. Hands on experience desirable
• Well-developed knowledge of Kronos Integration
• Proven mentor/coach experience
• Solid interpersonal skills to interface with co-workers and customers
• Ability to manage specific tasks to completion with minimal direction
• Business Development skills to assist in pre-Sales activities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• HCM Experience – configuration or consulting
• Project management experience desirable
• Worked on projects using Agile (or Agile like) methodology
• 6 Sigma certification desirable
