The Quality Assurance Developer is involved in the development and maintenance of schedule generation engines and labor forecasting engines. S/he supports a scrum team in building a high-quality product suite that meets and exceeds our customer expectations. S/He will be responsible for the following:

• Participate in analyzing, designing, and defining test strategies, and in testing the scheduling and forecasting engines and related features
• Collaborate with QA team members as well as all other Scrum team members to ensure appropriate implementation of business requirements
• Work closely with our UX team to assess testing feasibility and identify risks
• Ensure a high-quality user experience
• Set up, configure, and maintain automated testing environments in a continuous integration setting
• Develop test documentation, execute tests, and monitor results using application lifecycle tools
• Provide complete automated testing coverage
• Review business and functional requirements documents in order to create appropriate test documentation
• Transform manual test documentation into robust, efficient automated test scripts
• Participate in appropriate automated testing discussions and efforts in order to develop and maintain best practices within the automation and testing communities in the organization.
• Report progress and results of automated testing efforts to appropriate leadership teams.
• Provide coaching and mentoring about automated testing to less-experienced team members.
• Continuously improve the productivity and efficiency of our automated testing efforts using innovative tools and techniques.
• Adhere to and promote standards for test development best practices.
• Stay current on new technologies and evangelize future adoption of next-generation automation tools and best practices as appropriate.


• **Good understanding of French is required**
• Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Computer Science, Operational Research or a related discipline
• About 5 years of experience in software quality assurance or a related discipline
• Rich experience with automation tools
• Solid experience in functional testing and software quality best practices
• In-depth knowledge of test concepts, tools and processes, including expertise of various types of tests
• Practical experience with risk-based testing approaches and good knowledge of model-based testing automation
• Technical leadership skills, including self-determination, coaching and mentoring to drive change in tools or practices
• Team spirit, autonomy and creativity
• Motivation, organization, ability to develop according to a project plan and ability to effectively communicate the progress of the work.

• Experience in the areas of scheduling, forecasting or operational research
• Experience in Cloud or SaaS Service Delivery
• Experience working in an Agile-Scrum software development environment
