As a Software Engineer, you will contribute to an agile development team focused on building, enhancing, and modernizing our flagship, cloud-based enterprise feature set. In this highly-collaborative environment, you’ll get to work directly with other Developers, Software Testers, Business Analysts, & Product Managers where you will have the opportunity to grow as an engineer, and even help mentor others.

Primary/Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities:
• Is an active member of a fast-paced, agile development team.
• Creates highly usable web applications & ensure high performance of front-end experiences.
• Adheres to and promotes standards and web development best practices.
• Works with UX team to assess technical feasibility and identify risks.
• Works in a highly creative, detail oriented front-end web UI Environment.
• Designs, codes and tests individual stories that, when combined, create a major feature or product.
• Collaborates with fellow engineers and business analysts to derive the best solutions to feature designs and defect resolutions.
• Performs peer code reviews with constructive feedback to continually improve our offerings.
• Researches, troubleshoots and provides the team leader solution options regarding critical defects and high priority escalations.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers on technical design, best practices, and solutions
• Assists with hotfix, service pack and major release deployments.
• Assists in firefighting production issues when needed.
• Continues to learn new skills, techniques, technologies and industry trends in the field.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
• Proven history of innovative user interface design and development
• 5+ years successfully delivering enterprise software solutions, using an object-oriented programming language
• BS degree in Computer Science or related field
• Experience developing software within an Agile or Lean methodology, using practices such as CI/CD and TDD
• Source code repository experience using Git or similar tools
• Development experience with the following languages & Technology: C#, Angular, Java, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Microservices, Automation testing tools (Selenium, Jasmine, xUnit, mocking frameworks)

Preferred Qualifications:
• Working knowledge of full stack web development, understanding of core Java, Web services and REST APIs, Node.js
• Writing complex Javascript as well as utilizing JavaScript frameworks like jQuery
• Strong experience in at least one MVC or MVVM architecture framework for application development
• Understanding of usability, accessibility, interaction design, and cross-browser compatibility
• Knowledge of front-end performance optimization
