Software Engineer - Virtual Roster
Description
An opportunity to develop workforce management software designed to handle the scheduling, time and attendance, and labor analysis for casino resorts.Virtual Roster automates the scheduling and increases efficiency throughout the entire workforce management system, from planning and analysis to schedule creation and payroll integration.
Your ability to construct technical specifications from a business functional model, and test and write technical documentation will ensure your success in this well-regarded team.
Responsibilities include:
• Develop software utilising VB6, VB.NET, Javascript, ASP.NET, Objective C
• Maintain accurate and consistent level of code output which conforms to the coding guidelines
• Gain and maintain a high level of knowledge of supported products, operating environments and related industry issues
• Maintain accurate and timely reporting of all customer contacts, feedback and software related issues
• Participate in the analysis of use of the software; identify potential problem areas, and recommend optimum approaches for the development of the software, utilising expertise gained through the position
• Participate in the development, implementation, installation, and testing of the software
• Participate in project-related activities in a variety of technical areas
Qualifications
Ideally; you’ll have:• Bachelor of IT – majoring Software Engineering or Computer Sciences; or Minimum of experience in a software development role
• MCPD (Microsoft Certified Professional Developer) or a willingness to undertake this within 12 months
