Kronos is looking for a Senior Software Engineer for its Cloud Software Verification and Validation team. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex test automation targeted at verifying a highly available SAAS product. You will work as a member of an engineering team delivering and testing at the Solution/System level, working closely with the Cloud operations team.

• Lead and/or participates in System Test Design and planning
• Develop test automation for integration into CI/CD pipeline and monitor results using a variety of tools
• Work across the organization on automated test design and implementation
• Design/setup/configure/maintain SaaS test environments in a continuous integration setting
• Deliver a set of reusable, modular tests for the entire solution, including platform and service level components
• Provide automated testing coverage for areas of responsibility
• Collaborate with both the scrum team on its deliverables and your colleagues in the quality organization to deliver efficient and effective test automation
• Work to ensure a highly-available, robust and resilient product that meets or exceeds customer expectations
• Adhere to and promote standards for test development best practices, including driving test maintenance ROI
• Stay current on new technologies and evangelize future adoption of next-generation automation tools/frameworks and best practices as appropriate
• Participate in a continuous improvement model with respect to test automation and test automation management tools including Jenkins, GitHub, Jira etc..


• BS in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field
• Minimum of 8 years of experience working as a Software Engineer and/ or Software Engineer in Test
• Strong OOP skills, preferably with Java
• Experience with Selenium or other automated testing tools and RestAPI
• Strong analysis and troubleshooting skills and a fierce curiosity
• Demonstrated experience creating software test automation in a highly scalable and reliable web application/platform environment
• Self-directed with ability to work effectively in a highly innovative and fast-paced environment
