Kronos is growing and adding a Software Asset Management Analyst to the team. In this role you’ll join a dynamic team where you will analyze and manage software license requests and maintenance agreements as well as provide analysis on data to optimize usage. Additionally, this role allows someone to learn and develop their skills while collaborating with peers and internal resources across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
• Understand and be able to execute delegated steps of the Software Asset Management process including handling all related software renewal analysis and responsibilities
• Respond to and manage software requests from end users, managers, developers, and team members utilizing internal ticketing system (ServiceNow)
• Collect and maintain accurate Software Licensing information to address budgeting, software compliance & inventory, contracts, and cost
• License management for key enterprise publishers – including validating use cases, license re-harvest and maintain full understanding of complex licensing terms to optimize usage
• Research to locate contracts for additional license entitlements
• Independently work on both tactical activities and large projects including both purchasing and process changes with a high level of discretion and independence.
• Exhibit a sense of ownership for projects delegated by management/leadership, including pushing projects along and responsibility for results
• Utilize your strong quantitative, analytical, problem solving skills, including the ability to accumulate, organize, and assimilate large amounts of information
• Exercise excellent customer focus, detail orientation, time management, communication and organizational skills
• Evaluate and compare supplier quotes, bids and information and make recommendations and present your finding to various levels of the business

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology or similar areas preferred
• 0-3+ years of experience preferred
• Ability to conform to shifting priorities in strategies, product and licensing demands and purchasing timelines through analytical capabilities
• Strong written & verbal communication skills while working with technical and non-technical audiences
• Knowledge of Software Asset Management principals / practices a plus
• Oracle I-Procurement and ServiceNow experience both a plus
• Knowledge of product use rights for publishers such as Oracle, Microsoft, Adobe, IBM, VmWare etc. a plus
