The Performance Development Engineering team is responsible for the complete implementation, maintenance and improvement of the Performance Development software product in all of its facets. This includes but not limited to the front-end user experience on desktop and mobile, server-side architecture, data processing, testing, security, and application performance. As a Software Engineer, you play a key role in developing and maintaining existing products are building new functionality while ensuring the quality and excellence of our products. Embedded within an agile development team, you will work side by side with other Software Engineers, Test Engineers and SREs as well as members from UX and Product Management. You will write code using your knowledge of coding techniques, tech stacks, and best practices to work together with the team to solve customer issues in our highly-collaborative environment.

Primary/Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities:

• Communicate with customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Troubleshoot and resolve product issues as reported by our customers
• Be passionate about code maintainability and quality
• Communicate with the team to bring up and resolve roadblocks and issues quickly
• Able to identify patterns in recurring customer issues and work to resolve them permanently
• Able to solve problems together with product, integration partners, and engineers on the team


• Able to discuss technical challenges with non-technical people in a customer-friendly way
• Impeccable debugging and problem solving skills.
• Back end software development experience with Java, C# or another OOP language
• Front end development experience with JavaScript or TypeScript, and at least one modern front end framework (Angular, React, etc)
• Database experience: both SQL and NoSQL Database experience
• Familiar with message brokers such as RabbitMQ and Kafka
• Experience writing automated tests at all levels of testing.
• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent in work experience
