Kronos, recently recognized as one of the region’s Best Places to Work, is looking for a senior security architect with practical experience in the cyber security industry as it relates to public cloud and SaaS hosted services.
As Sr. Security Architect for enterprise Kronos Cloud Operations, you will define, articulate, and lead the evolving vision and roadmap for security infrastructure services and supporting control processes used to protect our SaaS customers’ data in the Kronos Cloud.

Responsibilities:
• Directly contribute to the Kronos global enterprise cloud architecture
• Lead the strategy for security infrastructure services supporting Kronos SaaS offerings in public and private cloud
• Deliver architecture designs and lead implementation of cloud security tools that support business goals and strike the proper balance between security and business risk tolerance
• Determine the impact industry trends or new regulatory requirements have on current Cloud security and related controls, and provide recommended actions
• Collaborate with other Kronos leaders across the business to define opportunities to optimize Cloud security solutions
• Act as a central contact for enterprise Cloud security subject matter expertise for other technology teams in the organization
• Document guidelines to assist other Kronos architects build security by design into cloud solutions to enable Cloud security and compliance
• Conduct security reviews of cloud solutions where needed to encourage best practice and mitigate security risk
• Write internal and customer facing whitepapers to communicate, in business language, information about Kronos Cloud data security, data protection, and security operations.

Qualifications

Qualifications/Experience:
• Seven to ten years as a security architect, preferably including enterprise SaaS/Cloud operations
• Strong technical foundation in compliance and security infrastructure tools (anti-virus, file integrity, privileged identity, vulnerability management, penetration testing, SEIM)
• Practical experience delivering solutions to enable security compliance (SOC2, ISO27001, GDPR, etc.)
• Experience instituting guidelines and mentoring others in cloud security best practices
• Positive attitude with an ability to adapt working style for business or technical interactions
• Superior written and oral communication skills
• Bachelor degree - Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
• Industry standard security certifications preferred: (CISSP, GIAC, CISM,etc.)
