The Pricing Manager works closely and cross-functionally with Product Management, Sales, Marketing, and Finance, under the Sr. Director of Pricing, to drive pricing optimization across the organization. This highly visible role is global in scope and responsible for both strategic (e.g. offer configuration, setting price structure and list price for new products, discount management policies) and tactical (deal management, negotiation support) pricing recommendations, supported by insights from both transactional financial analysis and customer/competitive value analysis.

Additional responsibilities include project management of pricing-specific margin improvement initiatives (under executive sponsorship), project-based pricing support for other in non-pricing initiatives, and ensuring the successful implementation of all strategic pricing actions in CPQ/ERP and other automation systems.


•BS/BA degree in business or related discipline (MBA not required but strongly preferred) or equivalent experience and a minimum of 6 years relevant work experience in high tech or enterprise software industries
•Familiarity with basic business intelligence tools; strong Excel and PowerPoint ability
•Strong analytical skills, including ability to create models from both quantitative and qualitative analysis
•Strong quality control and attention to detail
•Strong interpersonal and communication skills
•Ability to identify and communicate insights based on analysis
•Ability to build cross-functional peer relationships and interact with senior internal personnel including executive staff
•Ability to manage multiple requests to deadlines, understanding, communicating, and trading off priorities
•Prior experience in both quantitative financial analysis and qualitative analysis on customers and competitors.
