Kronos Products and Technology group has an immediate need for a Senior Manager, Quality Assurance to focus on our Workforce Dimensions product. This role will manage a group of Software Quality Assurance Engineers and Software Development Engineers in Test (SDETs) through the full lifecycle software development. The successful candidate will have previous experience leading a successful quality/test team, possess a passion for quality assurance and have demonstrated ability to focus on multiple teams and projects. We are seeking candidates with a start-up mentality who can bring success in delivering rapid release cycles and adapt quickly and effectively to changing priorities. This role will require proficiency in defining and executing appropriate quality strategies/plans, creating successful metrics and working with offshore partner organizations. In addition, the successful candidate will have previous software quality assurance management experience across multiple projects while being well versed in an Agile/Scrum methodologies.

In this role you will:
• Manage a team of experienced Quality & Test Engineers and remote or offshore partners. Provide mentoring to the team and provide guidance and support in using processes and tools
•Drive and deliver software products on time with high quality; using agile and customer focused quality practices throughout project work
•Define and drive with architects and product stakeholders the strategic aims and roadmap for the Workforce Dimensions product
•Provide coaching and direction on techniques to achieve stated quality goals through education, training, coaching and collaboration on design and implementation
•Possess a high degree of skills in matrix management and ability to influence others
•Expertly facilitate and manage groups and teams around a topic or activity
•Support and enhance the QA methodologies to ensure delivery of predictable, high-quality product releases
•Help define quality practices and metrics which serve as strong predictors for the post-release customer experience
•Building automated test inventories to drive efficiency and productivity across the organization
•Collaborate with counterparts distributed across the US, Canada, and India to ensure proper integrations of products and services
•Communicate the status and key quality metrics to leadership teams, and help drive improvement as necessary
•Participate in development plan and performance reviews of direct reports
•Reinforce company values and culture in day-to-day behaviors, management style, and expectations of employees


•BS in Mathematics/Computer Science/Engineering or related discipline and a minimum of 10 years’ experience in quality assurance or development is desired.
•5-8 years direct people/team management experience
•Fluency in automation test methodologies and tools (e.g. Selenium) as well as understanding of software development processes.
•Working knowledge of Java and related technologies
•Prior experience working on SaaS products.
•Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment preferred
•A solid engineering foundation indicated by a demonstrated understanding of product design, life cycle, software development practices, and support services
•Demonstrated people management skills building and developing high performance teams
•Key skills include an ability to organize and motivate a team, analyze and resolve risks, execute a project plan and communicate status accurately
