Kronos is seeking a decisive, curious and collaborative Senior Engineering Manager to join the Workforce Central Continuing Engineering organization in Lowell, MA. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who’s comfortable recommending strategic decisions, implementing tactical solutions and leading geographically distributed teams in a fast-paced customer-focused organization.
Responsibilities:
• Cross functional point of contact for customer related issues with Kronos Global Support, Cloud Operations, Product Teams, and Engineering.
• Oversight of customer reported issues. Share progress and status as needed to drive business outcomes.
• Deliver results consistently in a fast-paced environment, giving attention to detail in high-pressure situations.
• Oversee the development of procedures and process to improve the efficiency of the Continuing Engineering organization.
• Lead data driven process improvements while maintaining high-quality standards to ensure customer satisfaction as it relates to delivered products.
• Develop the team’s product knowledge, technical and communication skills.
• Encourage and promote an environment of engaged engineers that attracts top talent.
• Operate in the best interest of our customers.

Qualifications

Qualifications -
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related degree.
• 10+ years’ experience in Software Development with 5+ years in a leadership role with a large team.
• Proficiency in Software Development Lifecycle and methodologies, including cross-functional support activities.
• Detailed knowledge of agile/scrum and the ability to work within an agile environment and provide coaching to teams to improve their practices.
• Prior experience working with geographically distributed teams and off-shoring partners.
• Ability to influence across functional boundaries and across multiple organizational levels to drive results.
• Proven track record of delivering projects and programs from initiation through implementation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Skilled at team building and cultivating a positive team environment.
