This is a 12-15 month temporary contract (maternity leave replacement). Exciting opportunity to join a high performance HR team, supporting our Canadian operation, including Sales, Services, Engineering and G&A functions. Primary office locations in Montreal and Toronto. This Sr. Manager, Human Resources will provide a broad range of HR services including: talent management, coaching and employee development, change management, workforce planning, employee relations, and regulatory and statutory HR compliance. The successful candidate will develop strong relationships with the Canadian leadership and employees at all levels, and also with our global HR team, to help us achieve outstanding business results. The selected individual must be able to lead programs, challenge the status-quo, and develop creative solutions to global business challenges.

• Partner, advise and influence management team through VP-level on all aspects of people management and leadership
• Represent the Global HR Function in providing full-service HR business partner/consulting support to respective client groups based across Canada
• Cultivate strong working relationships with leadership team and employees
• Gain deep knowledge of corporate business practices, policies, organization structure, roles/responsibilities to fully understand business and industry dynamics
• Serve as program manager for HR initiatives in support of business objectives such as talent reviews, succession planning, on-boarding, mentoring, and development planning
• Participate as a project team member on global HR initiatives such as developing our Employee Brand/Value Proposition and establishing Benchmarks/Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure organizational effectiveness
• Lead and manage Canadian provincial compliance programs such as: Pay Equity, Health & Safety, AODA, and Employment Equity
• Develop and build consistent HR processes that support corporate functions and complies with local business, corporate and legal requirements
• Support the successful achievement of action-oriented deliverables in response to Employee Engagement data
• Manage employee relations issues in partnership with HR Shared Services, always with an eye for resolving at the root cause and minimizing future risk or disruption
• Continue to build exceptional HR business partnering capabilities that contribute to company performance and ensures that Kronos continues to be a place where great people work
• Support Kronos GiveInspired community activities for Canada


• Minimum of 12+ years of experience in a senior HRBP role, with a broad depth of experience in organizational design, management coaching, team building, compensation, employee relations, training, and HR program implementation
• Knowledge of Canadian employment law, with emphasis on provincial employment standards for the provinces of Ontario, Quebec, British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba and New Brunswick
• Experienced with leading/managing pay equity programs, health & safety and employment equity
• Knowledgeable of Canadian Group Benefit Programs, Provincial Payroll Practices along with managing leaves
• Collaborative and customer-focused with ability to develop strong relationships at all levels of the organization
• Must be fluent in both English and French
