The Senior Network Manager’s primary role will be to provide management and leadership to our growing Cloud Network Engineering team. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable about enterprise networks and is expected to provide technical expertise throughout our acquisition process as well as provide support to our rapidly growing customer base.
This role will anticipate and proactively forecast for future growth, while tracking performance and ensuring stability to meet service level agreements. The Network Manager will be experienced in managing best in class Datacenters and Network and Security Infrastructure Engineers; largely but not exclusively based upon the Cisco and Juniper technology stack.

•Responsible for the overall performance and availability of the network including directing the activities of the network engineers responsible for monitoring, installing, testing, maintaining, trouble-shooting, and securing network equipment and facilities.
•Ensure that the networks meet current and anticipated availability and capacity requirements.
•Provide Project management, prioritization and overall leadership for Network projects and initiatives.
•Communicate relevant network activities to Kronos Management affected by changes or problems with the network.
•Interface with vendors for product information, maintenance, billing, contract issues, and the timely resolution of escalated problems.
•Manage assigned personnel, allocate work and make decisions regarding employment, performance appraisal, training and development, salary recommendations, promotion and transfer.
•Develop, implement, and assure adherence to network/security policies and procedures.
•Manage / oversee the teams service desk queue’s and lead the support team during any network related priority incidents.
•Strong fundamental understanding with major vendor’s router and switch configurations (Juniper and Cisco)


•10 - 14 years’ technical experience in a 24x7x365 supporting enterprise Networks/Security technologies
•5-10 years successful leadership and mentoring of an infrastructure team, preferably in a global environment
•Experience in a Hosting, SaaS, or Cloud environment is strongly desired
•Bachelor’s degree plus 10+ years of experience with enterprise networks
•Proficiency in Project Management
•Experience with Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity
•Ability to communicate effectively emphasizing written and oral presentation skills
•Excellent documentation skills including high-level architecture diagrams and detailed instructions
•Strong interpersonal skills and comfortable working with a global team including mentoring others
•Knowledge of Windows, Linux and hypervisor networking stacks
•Experience designing, deploying and supporting dynamic routing protocols
•Proficient in the following network protocols: TCP/IP, RIP, DNS, BGP, OSPF, SIP, VOIP, SFTP, etc.
•ITIL experience
•Change management, Problem management, Capacity Management
•Network/Security Certifications (CCNP,CCIE, CISSP) desired
•Experience working with off-shore delivery company and distributed teams
•Strong fundamental experience with network security
•Strong fundamental understanding and hands on experience (will be a plus) with:
o Major vendor’s router and switch configuration
o Network load balancers – F5
o Firewalls – both layer 3 and layer 7 preferably with Juniper and Palo Alto
o IP Sec, VPN configuration, LDAP, ODBC, IDS/IPS, NAC
o Cisco ASA
o Experience with the setup and support of business to business VPN’s is a plus
o MPLS / EVPL, DS1, DS2, OCS, T1/T3, and even POT’s and dial up modem services
o Understanding of WAN acceleration technologies
