We are seeking an experienced, organized and motivated Paralegal to join our global legal department to play a key role in our new and growing “Claims and Controversies Team” that manages and supports all litigation and disputes for the company. In this role, you will report to the Assistant General Counsel, work closely with the other litigation attorneys, as well as interact with many of the departments throughout the recently merged company. This role provides a ground floor opportunity to help develop and implement processes around litigation and dispute resolution that will ensure the company is best prepared for all challenges! The role requires a self-motivated, highly organized and collaborative individual who excels in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
• Organize and manage legal documents for the litigation team and regularly interface with counsel to support discovery, e-discovery and investigations
• Play a key role in supporting the litigation team’s handling of subpoena response, customer disputes and bankruptcy matters
• Conduct interviews, draft affidavits and otherwise assist in the preparation of correspondence, documents and reports under the supervision of a lawyer
• Perform other functions such as conducting research, maintaining calendars, proofreading, organizing and maintaining forms, databases and other materials
• Help develop and implement processes and tools to enhance the organization and management of the Claims and Controversies function.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of paralegal experience in major law firm or corporate law department
• College degree required
• Experience working with Microsoft Office, Salesforce, e-discovery platforms
• Experience with technology firm a plus
• Litigation Paralegal experience strongly preferred
