Description

Responsibilities:
-Key contributor to company-wide compliance in accordance with US GAAP revenue recognition rules for software, non-software and software-as-a-service arrangements.
-Responsible for the preliminary review, accounting conclusions and documentation for individually material customer contracts.
-Prepare quarterly memos and analysis for various revenue recognition risk areas.
-Prepare month-end journal entries to properly recognize revenue in accordance with the Company’s revenue recognition accounting policy.
-Responsible for various forms of reporting utilized by revenue recognition team and other functions.
-Prepare account reconciliations
-Distribute complex reporting for senior management.
-Facilitate and manage external auditors’ quarterly reviews and audit of customer arrangements and the associated conclusions regarding the treatment of revenues.
-Key contributor to the Company’s preliminary impact assessment and ultimate adoption of the FASB and IASB’s new revenue recognition standard

Qualifications

-2+ years experience working in a revenue recognition role or experience with revenue recognition in public accounting.
-5+ years of overall corporate experience or 3 years of public accounting experience.
-Bachelors degree in accounting or Finance
-Experience in preparation or review of account reconciliations
-Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
-Excellent attention to detail and proven organizational skills.
-Highly motivated, reliable and able to work independently.
-Excellent verbal and written skills are required.
-Ability to interact successfully with all levels and functions within an organization.
