UKG is looking for a hardworking and driven Senior Financial Analyst to support our growing Finance organization. As a key contributor, you will be an essential member responsible for the oversight of current and future financial data and performance. The Senior Financial Analyst will be working closely with the Technology and Innovation organization and should have a strong background in software and cloud operations. The candidate will prepare reports and projections based on analysis.

Primary/Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities:
• Oversight surrounding the labor, cloud and software costs incurred by the Technology and Innovation organization
• Develop and provide financial models and forecasting as well as identify cost trends and analysis
• Participate in internal meetings with key stakeholders to achieve understanding of current business needs to accurately forecast future spends
• Compare actual results with forecasted to analyze and identify areas of strengths and weaknesses
• Identify trends in financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement
• Create and collaborate on ad-hoc metrics by assessing and conveying the financial impact of business projects and initiatives
• Lead the budget, forecast, and monthly close process
• Review, track, and analyze procurements and align with budget and forecast spends
• Evaluate current and future capital expenditures and depreciation
• Advocate internal process improvements, best practices, and provide business efficiency savings where possible
• Collaborate with the senior management team ensuring business decisions remain in line with company expectations

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Expert-level ability to manage and oversee financial modeling and analytical
• Strong organizational and analytical skills to understand business requirements
• Excellent organizational, communication and presentation skills
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and meet deadlines
• Exceptional interpersonal skills: ability to communicate and influence others
• Think imaginatively and intuitively while quickly grasping and synthesizing new ideas
• Possess strong attention to details
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment to solve business problems by consulting with others
Experience, Education, Certification, License and Training:
• B.A. in Finance, Accounting or a related field
• At least five to seven years of experience in financial planning working in a Software company
Preferred Qualifications:
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office: Excel, PowerPoint
• SQL or Alteryx experience a plus
• Experience with Tableau or Power BI a plus
