Senior Director, Program Management Office

Reporting to the CIO and working closely with business leaders, this position is responsible for building and maintaining the company's long and short term Information Technology plans and is accountable for monitoring and measuring the implementation of those plans. The communication of the strategy and planned execution of the plan are also under the purview of this position. The ability to build and maintain very strong relationships with the business as well as all IT functions is critical. Experience running a PMO in a fast moving, high growth environment is required. This is a very hands-on position.

Responsibilities:
• Own and manage the IT Portfolio, ensuring that it is accurate, up to date and communicated at the appropriate levels throughout the corporation.
• Standardize processes, documentation and actions for all PMO activities.
• Implement and operate an effective PMO governance program.
• Assist with budgeting for all components of the long, mid, and short-range plans.
• Measure and report on execution to program and project timelines and budgets.
• Define, document and publish metrics around portfolio health.
• Manage and communicate risk.
• Manage changes to the plan.
• Work closely with the IT Senior Leadership Team and senior business leaders to establish five year and annual work plans, budgets and development plans.
• Work closely with the IT Senior Leadership Team to coordinate work and resourcing across all IT teams.
• Thorough understanding of most business functions and how systems and processes support them.
• Thorough understanding of large business systems and how they support the business.
• Very good, broad understanding of all IT functions.
• Build and maintain close relationships with leaders of all business functions.
• Establish and maintain regular communications with all business functions.
• Run the IT Operating Committee.
• Communicate IT plans to the Executive Committee, business stakeholders, the IT Operating Committee, and the IT department specifically, and the general business population generally.
• May be asked to manage other teams depending on skillset of candidate.

Qualifications:
• Strong leadership, organization and problem solving skills
• Strong planning (long and mid-range), forecasting and tracking skills
• Experienced coordinator of work and knowledge
• Excellent communicator (verbal, written)
• Strong budgeting and financial management skills
• Project Management certifications
