As our new Scrum Master, you will be working in our latest software suite's team, Workforce Dimensions (Scheduling module). The successful candidate will work across the organization and act as a change agent to improve our Agile method practices.
You will join a local team of experienced Scrum masters and will report directly to our onsite Director, Program Management. This will be a role where you’ll be expected to wear a Scrum Master and Project Manager hat.

In addition, we’re looking for someone who will deepen interactions with other Scrum teams in the world and share Scrum knowledge across the engineering organization.

Scrum Master
• For 3 local Scrum teams with a focus on guiding the teams towards improving the way they work and meet their delivery commitment
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and ensure cross-team coordination
• Assist the internal product manager with keeping the backlog groomed
• Reach out to the larger company network for impediment removal
• Identify and maintain relevant metrics that gives the team insight into their progress
• Identify and address challenges in the Scrum process that negatively impact team productivity
• Ensure that our ways of working are consistent across the teams
• Liaise between the developers and User Experience/Visual Designers. Foster better communication between the disciplines

Project Manager
• Support the larger PMO function in Montreal
• Take responsibility for managing dependencies between our team and third parties
• Ensure information coming from the team (velocity, impediments, risks) is shared with leadership teams and other scrum teams

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years IT experience with exposure in one or more areas of software development
• Project management background preferred
• Scrum Master certification preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills (meeting facilitation and team building techniques)
• Ability to work in a constantly changing environment
• This role can be based in Montreal or Kelowna, and for Montreal based candidates, bilingualism is preferred
