The Public Relations Manager will be primarily responsible for executing our Industry Public Relations program, with the goal of generating positive publicity for Kronos across different industries including financials services, healthcare, logistics, manufacturing, public sector, and retail.

• Formulate and execute plans to support a variety of industry-specific public relations campaigns
• Work closely with marketing managers, creative teams, writers, and external PR resources to develop creative and integrated programs to support product launches, campaigns, events, and thought leadership
• Generate steady volume of press releases, pitches, and articles that support Kronos solutions for its enterprise and small and midsize business customers
• Manage industry-specific speaking and awards programs, with a focus on driving award and speaking submissions that promote innovation and workforce management thought leadership
• Serve as information source for media contacts requesting data and insights
• Coach spokespeople and staff media interviews; provide strategic PR counseling to internal clients
• Drive media strategy for news announcements
• Take lead with PR agency to proactively identify trends and pitch ideas that generate media coverage
• Identify metrics and measure success of product PR activities


• 3-5 years of experience required, with a minimum of 2 years spent at a tech PR agency preferably working with clients that deliver cloud software solutions
• Bachelor’s degree in journalism/public relations/communications field required
• Experience in media relations, spokesperson training, and program execution required, with PR agency experience preferred
• Strong business writing skill is required
• Success representing public relations on cross-functional teams developing strategies and tactics for integrated marketing plans
• Demonstrated analytical and conceptual problem-solving ability
• Strong oral and written communication skills, excellent organizational abilities, and high attention to detail
• Creativity, desire for results, proficiency in multi-tasking, and finesse working with diverse internal clients
• Industry specific knowledge in financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, public sector, or retail is desired but not mandatory
