Coordinates all aspects of a product or service offering project for a client, from inception to installation. Installations may involve acceptance of capitalized equipment or enterprise software systems, or system integration or consulting projects/engagements. May work at client site from time to time. Typically involves extensive interaction with sales, systems engineering, product development, and other members of cross-functional teams. Project is typically focused on the delivery of new or enhanced products to improvement of customer satisfaction through the use of technology. Project management skills, rather than technical skills, are key, but a strong technical background is often required to manage competing interests. Typically oversees schedules and budgets to ensure goal attainment.

Project Manager III uses skills and experience in consulting, managing implementations, setting and managing customer expectations, using project management methodologies, and leading teams/projects. This individual uses his/her experience to apply solutions moderately complex projects. This individual general works independently while providing regular updates to manager.

Project Management Skills
•Evaluates what drives the business and effectively advises on business decisions. ◦Understands some of the Kronos specific solutions in his/her area of expertise to offer guidance and best practice recommendations to clients.
◦Understands and is able to accurately estimate the time necessary to complete key customer and internal milestones and effectively communicate them to the client.
◦Is able to understand and practice project management methodologies.
◦Is able to effectively identify and influence key decision makers internally & externally.
◦Is able to understand and analyze the expected outcomes of the customer and internal resources, and learning to apply project management skills to meet project requirements
◦Maintains composure during stressful situations.
◦Is able to effectively manage conflicts with internal or external customers by reading the situation quickly and helping others find common ground or involving appropriate individuals for guidance.
◦Responsibility to escalate project risks and issues, and can articulate them without bias.
◦Is able to present to more senior leaders.
◦Sought out by others for advice and solutions on how to manage customer or internal expectations related to his/her specialized area.
◦Effectively negotiates in tough situations with both internal and external grups related to specialized area.
◦Technical Skills

•Possesses knowledge of Kronos specific solutions and demonstrates this knowledge though the implementation, rollout, and troubleshooting of project issues. ◦Sought out by others for advice and solutions on technical questions in specialized area.
◦Learns quickly when facing new technical challenges
◦Works in multi-vendor or multi-protocol environments
◦Is comfortable presenting virtually (web and/or phone) for client audiences
◦Has a high level of understanding of at least one of the following areas: timekeeping, payroll, or HR concepts and implementing them via software
◦Uses judgment within defined procedures and practices when using the Kronos processes to establish the milestones for the project.
◦Demonstrates advanced understanding of specific tools/processes to document all phases of the project.
◦Is able to effectively coordinate, communicate and control the scope of the project, manage issues and challenges, and identify new customer needs.
◦Analyze business/client processes to manage the customer expectations.
◦Has a high level of understanding of project management principles and has been able to demonstrate for a sustained period of time.
◦Has a high level of understand how to motivate the team, foster commitment, provide coaching, and resolve disputes. And has been able to demonstrate for a sustained period of time.

•BS/BA degree in computer science, business or related discipline or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5+ years related work experience
