Description

Oracle EBS developer is responsible for the design, development and testing of system modifications and enhancements.

Responsibilities:
• Designs, develops, implements, documents and tests changes to EBS components, integrations and extensions. Creates prototypes, ensures deliverables are high quality and meets user expectations, supports system and integration testing activities. Initiates design reviews for new applications and adheres to software development standards including code review (self and peer) and impact analysis of suggested solution. Effort estimation for own tasks with available detail, post production deployment support
• Participates in functional specification activities, may assist business analysts in completing deliverables and translates business requirements and functional designs into technical designs, development of functional designs and resolving complex design issues
• Resolves and helps mitigate production application issues and assists less experienced application developers as needed, works with other business and technology teams to support resolution of end-user inquiries, contributes to the documentation of production support processes, anticipates long term support issues and plans for corrective actions, conducts root cause analysis to identify permanent resolutions to software or business process issues
• Provide support to other team members when required
• Ensure the adherence of processes in place within and across teams

Qualifications

• College degree in Computer Science, Management Information Science, Business Administration or related field preferred
• A minimum of 2 years Oracle Application E-Business Suite experience with proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL
• Demonstrate successful experience in technologies that support Oracle E-Business Suite, to include but not limited to Oracle Workflow, Optio, XML reporting technologies
• Experience in all phases of Software Development Life Cycle
• Ability to effectively work well with people in other departments and with virtual teams in different time zones
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Result oriented and displays attention to detail when required
• Conversant with platforms, tools and frameworks used in application development
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent debugging/troubleshooting skills
