Essential Functions:
•Creating logical and physical database design in collaboration with application teams
•Performance Tuning and Optimization, using indexing strategies, native monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
•Develop and Reviewing sql scripts (PL/SQL and/or T-SQL).
•Automation using python scripts
•Database Administration for Oracle 11g, 12c
•Troubleshooting ad hoc database issues using log/trace files

Secondary Functions:
•Configuration and Troubleshooting Oracle 11g, 12c, 18c installation on both Windows and Linux
•Monitoring of Oracle Servers
•Planning and Implementing High Availability and Disaster Recovery.


Qualifications -
Graduate in Computer Science. MCA/ Regular PG course in Computers added advantage. Min. 5 years related work experience. 3+ years in Oracle database development and administration.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
•Knowledge of advance PL/SQL statements and Procedures Functions for Oracle
•Knowledge of indexes, index management, and statistics.
•Owning, tracking and resolving database related incidents and requests.
•Fulfilling requests and resolving incidents within SLAs.
•Experience in implementing operational automation using scripts
•Experience High Availability and Disaster Recovery options for Oracle Server.
•Experience in maintaining database on cloud based application.
•Good communication and documentation skills

Knowledge of the following technology areas:

•Experience in implementing operational automation using scripts
•Should be able to anticipate issues and resolve data problems
•Should have very good analytical skills & debugging skills
•Experience with Database Administration for Oracle 11g, 12c
•Experience in Oracle Performance Tuning and Optimization
