Kronos is presently hiring a Support Engineer in China who would be responsible for responding & resolving customer queries raised during installation, operation, maintenance, product application or compatibility matters of our product.

• Respond to customer product inquiries via telephone or email or chat sessions
• Technical product knowledge to troubleshoot problems with malfunctioning electro/mechanical equipment or software applications and recommends corrective action
• Documents customer information and recurring technical issues to support product quality programs and product development
• Utilize his/her technical ability to prioritize issues and respond appropriately to multiple critical situations
• Research application questions by setting up scenarios and testing the application
• Analyzing customer configurations and thinking “out of the box” to resolve and/or find a work around
• Provide technical expertise to conduct specific performance or functional tests associated with resolving performance issues regarding Kronos applications
• Develop a solid base of general product knowledge

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of support or implementation experience, focusing on enterprise application software like SAP, HCM or other workforce management applications
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English/Chinese
• Good knowledge of working with Oracle and SQL relational database management systems, strong knowledge of SQL scripting
• Knowledge in Crystal Reports or similar reporting package is plus
• Java skills are a plus
