At Kronos, we see DevOps as a methodology that unites operations and development to automate everything. Our team facilitates and builds a DevOps culture & infrastructure.

The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for;
• deployment automation, simplifying self-service and creating transparency around resource utilization
• analyzing all deployment/infrastructure related to issues in different stack, stabilizing the infra stacks across Engineering and for automating the deployments and upgrade related stuff
• the build and support automation for deployment of various components of the product ecosystem
• building and supporting custom tools that facilitate and enhance productivity of development and QA teams
• Deploying and Working with Public Clouds such as Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure
• Automating processes using Google API’s with the help of scripting languages (Preferably python)
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the product.
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to address and mitigate these problems.
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
• Supervise and mentor junior developers.

Qualifications

• 8-13 years of software development experience in a fast-paced environment, working through all phases of the software development life cycle
• Experience with system deployment & management systems (Chef/Puppet/Salt/RightScale) and Jenkins
• Experience with deploying and managing applications with cloud providers (AWS, Google Compute)
• Deploying and managing applications with Docker Containers & Kubernetes
• deploying orchestration tools like Terraform will be a Plus
• Infrastructure Management, Release & Configuration Management and Production Support will be a Plus
• Familiarity with CentOS, Ubuntu, SUSE Linux is a must
• Experience in Development Tools – Jenkins, GIT (Stash), Jira, Confluence, VersionOne, Artifactory, Gradle, Grunt
• Ability to write in multiple languages including Python, Java, Ruby and Bash scripting
• Comfortable developing with the command-line
