An opportunity to become a critical focal point of our successful Presales team. Working cross functionally and consultatively, your efficient assistance will have a real impact on our future success and be highly visible to our senior leadership team.
Your understanding of the technology industry together with your superior administrative skills will enable you to succeed into this role, and progress within our expanding business.
Responsibilities include:
• Assist in research when we are preparing for large, strategic presentations. Build a portfolio of the prospect to distribute to the team.
• Build intelligence on our competitors and keep a file, so the team can access configuration of baseline demonstration system to illustrate how the product solves specific requirements
• Stay informed on current technology and technology trends. Be able to articulate how Kronos solutions fit into a prospects’ technical environment. Understand environments such as VMWare, hosted solutions, managed services, etc.
• Bid Manager for requests for proposals (RFP’s) – Sectioning out the response requirements and distributing, keeping track of what has been answered, and ensuring everything is returned by the due date
• Working with the pre-sales team to create electronic filling solutions as well as creating presentations, keeping our product functionality information (datasheets) up to date, creating sharepoint sites, assisting the pre-sales team with their presentations
• Working with the training team in the US to understand what is required and circulate those requirements with the pre-sales team. Assisting in creating an induction programme for the pre-sales team
• Solution updates – Keep up to date on new features and circulate information to the team

Qualifications

Ideally, you’ll have:
• Strong background with Microsoft Office and other administrative tools, experience designing presentations on Microsoft Powerpoint
• Prior experience with Bid managing RFP’s is an advantage
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to function adeptly in front of audiences (face-to-face or via internet only) to provide critical information to the team.
• A sound grasp of technology including solutions for office administration and electronic filing
• Understanding of databases (especially SQL and Oracle), operating systems (especially MS operating systems), web technologies (Java, Flash, etc), server hardware, and network architecture (e.g. firewalls, switches, WAN’s/LAN’s)
• Self-motivation and dedicated to on-going internal and external educational re-tooling. Previous administration skills and/or sales methodology training is desired.
