Payroll Analyst II is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll using in a multi-state environment with a strong focus on customer service. This position requires effectively managing priorities with great attention to detail while performing a wide variety of routine record-keeping and payroll processing activities, including computing wages and overtime payments, calculating and recording payroll deductions, and processing manual pay requests. The position also supports the Manager, Payroll Compliance in executing strategic projects that drive process improvements and efficiencies and have frequent and regular interactions with cross functional departments, senior management, payroll vendors and shared services team in India.

• Assist in managing and guarantying disbursement of multi-state US payroll, including garnishments, benefits, and taxes to 3,800 associates, consistent with federal and state wages and hour laws.
• Assist Manager, Payroll Operations in the semi-monthly payroll process of Mexico using ADP Streamline.
• Responsible for the coordination of complex payroll adjustments related to but not limited to taxes, wages and employee benefits.
• Partner with People (HR), Benefits, Tax, and Shared Services teams and other cross-functional areas to resolve payroll processing issues
• Provide guidance to Payroll Admin team on complex payroll issues that arise
• Assist Manager, Payroll Operations in post payroll reconciliation and research including third party benefit payments, garnishment, and reporting.
• Assist with acquisitions and projects by working with Human Resources and other cross-functional partners
Tax, Audit & Compliance
• Manage regular preparation of relevant management reports such as bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end KPIs and metrics regarding payroll processing, project status and process improvements.
• Assist with audits as it pertains to employee records, workers’ compensation, tax filings, 401k, and related documentation
• Reconcile all US payroll tax payments with the bank to ensure appropriate payment
System Support & Process Improvements
• Ensure that external and internal systems and processes correctly compute and record time, earnings, employee benefits, special deductions, mandated benefits, taxes, garnishments and other items that affect net pay and/or company liability.
• Participates in full system testing for version upgrades and legislative changes.
• Partner with the Global HR Operations teams & other internal customers to ensure effective processes and issue resolution.


• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration preferred
• 3+ years of US payroll experience with some international experience
• Certified Payroll Professional Certification (CPP) preferred
• Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Experience with payroll applications such as Kronos Workforce Central or ADP
• Well-organized, extreme attention to detail and a self-directed individual
• Extensive knowledge of current rules, regulations, laws, principles, and practices related to global payroll processing.
• Ability to work as part of a team with a high level of initiative
