Description

The On-boarding Specialist is responsible for the coordination, tracking, and communication for on-boarding of all Workforce Ready (WFR) new hire and transfer employees.  This individual will be responsible for delivering training as part of the on-boarding program and coordinating with people managers to ensure successful execution of the on-boarding program. This position will report to the Associate Manager of On-boarding Programs.

•Delivers product-related training to internal audiences
• Keep current on new products, industry trends, and new employee onboarding needs
• Modify onboarding as required to deliver ‘tailored’ or ‘custom’ onboarding experience
• Drive employee satisfaction in your onboarding and your consultancy efforts and continually develop skills to improved teaching and onboarding methods
• Collaborate cross functionally to develop and maintain onboarding programs
• Perform administration tasks to support onboarding activities and operations
• Deliver on-boarding in various media, including recorded, remote and live with engaging style and consultative experience, using stories, context and coaching techniques for an interactive experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required.
• Prior Workforce Ready system knowledge is preferred, but not required.
• Minimum of 5+ years as a trainer in a similar environment (or minimum 2-3+ years specific training and/or experience in Instructional Design/Delivery)
• Experience delivering training in both a virtual classroom and a traditional classroom is required.
• Experience working with virtual classroom tools is required.
• Must be flexible and have the ability to work in teams or alone, influence changes, manage multiple commitments, demonstrate high attention to detail, and meet tight deadlines.
