We are seeking a Manager of Software Engineering with experience in Cloud and SaaS solutions. This role is responsible for the leadership of a cross functional Agile team in the architecture, development and quality assurance of new and existing functionality. The role is expected to have a strong ability to troubleshoot, analyze and solve technical problems. The Manager of SWE is expected to review and write quality code and mentor those on the team to do the same. Mentorships and guidance of automated and traditional test engineers is also key this role. See other responsibilities below...

• Managing, motivating and mentoring Software and Test Engineering team members
• Interact with support, production operations, product management for development
• Be hands on with troubleshooting production/development issues
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the team
• Oversee performance analysis, diagnosis and resolution
• Support deployment of solution to production
• Work with remote/distributed teams


• Strong demonstrable experience engineering Java web applications is a required
• Well versed in clean coding best practices
• Experience in a SaaS / Cloud multi-tenant environment strongly desired
• Experience with relational databases
• Experience mentoring and leading cross-functional teams of Software and Test Engineers is strongly desired.
• Experience managing geographically distributed teams desired
• Experience supporting applications in production
• Experience working in an Agile / Scrum Environment is required
• Experience coaching and mentoring Agile / Scrum teams desired
• Knowledge and experience with automated testing frameworks such as, Selenium, Cucumber desired
• BS in Computer Science or related discipline
• 8+ years of commercial software development experience
• Minimum of 3 years in an engineering management role
• Excellent communication skills in English both written and spoken
