Manager, Site Reliability Engineer
Description

We are currently seeking a passionate SRE who’s ready to help us scale our delivery of value. You’ll need to have strong experience in Google Cloud Platform and a lean approach to delivery.Responsibilities:
• Engage, influence, and evangelize SRE practices with development, operational and product groups to align technology service/solution delivery.
• Drive capacity planning, performance analysis, instrumentation and other non-functional systems requirements
• Manage availability, latency, scalability and efficiency of applications development by instilling engineering reliability into our development life cycle with a focus on fault tolerant approaches.
• Implement metrics driven processes to ensure service quality targets are met.
• Analyze current technology utilized within the company and develop steps and processes to improve and expand upon them
• Collaborate closely with engineering professionals within the organization to streamline delivery to the cloud
• Help eliminate all manual intervention associated with delivery of value
• Test our system integrity, implemented designs, application developments and other processes related to infrastructure, making improvements as needed
• Monitor Health of Critical Business Functions and underlying technology that drives it and drive changes to improve it
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, Software Engineering or a relevant field• 10+ years technology experience in high-growth companies with 4 years in leadership positions
• Experience leading an enterprise platform team supporting high uptime SaaS environments and managing solutions in a cloud-based environment
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate technical and executive audiences.
• Experience working together with teams from several departments to facilitate the orderly execution of a proposed solution
• Prior successful experience as a systems performance or site/systems reliability engineer.
• Experience with network architecture topology design, including network security.
• Knowledge of development languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, Groovy, Bash
• Experience with Agile Delivery, Scrum/Kanban/SAFe, etc.
• Experience with DevOps tools such as New Relic, Splunk, ELK, Jenkins, Bitbucket
• GCP Certification preferred
