Kronos is seeking an experienced Professional Services Manager who thrives in a fast paced, collaborative environment. This position is responsible for planning, managing, and implementing highly visible projects and programs that will improve organizational infrastructure and support critical business initiatives. These projects and programs are broad in scope and may involve cross-functional partnerships. This position supports the department’s effort to institutionalize project and program management capabilities, including lean process considerations, process improvements, change management, and more, with the aim of improving business results.
This results-oriented leader will communicate and negotiate effectively, encourage sound decision-making, and assist the teams he/she works with in successfully delivering on commitments. The role requires a person who can build strong relationships and is highly functional in a dynamic and challenging environment. Must be able to manage conflict and tradeoffs and be able to quickly assess the impact of changes and risks to drive creative solutions.

Deployment & Effectiveness Leader Responsibilities:

•Provide innovative ways to deliver process-oriented, technical and business solutions.
• Responsible for tracking the day-to-day activities for the team and projects as required to ensure the projects are completed on time, successfully, and in a manner consistent with organizational goals.
• Rely on extensive experience and judgment to manage the overall Professional Services Program portfolio to ensure Projects are executed on time and within budget while delivering the defined scope.
• Facilitate resolution of key project risks and issues, including escalation and presentation of resolution options
• Provide leadership to continuously improve the function by encouraging process improvement including the implementation and updating of methodologies and best practices where appropriate.
• Provide direction and development of department staff, improving Project Management capabilities.
• Escalates, in a timely fashion, all issues that cannot be addressed by the project team to the project sponsor or steering committee.
• Assists in the development and implementation of project management methodologies, standards, processes, and documents. Ensures project managers adhere to these standards when managing projects.

Qualifications

A minimum of 10 years of experience managing teams, preferably teams of program and project managers
• Experience multi-program management, portfolio performance metrics and reporting
• Experience in the design of organizational processes and standards
• Strong written and oral communication with the ability to present ideas in business-friendly and professional manner
• Advanced judgment, problem resolution, organizational, cross-collaboration, conflict resolution, negotiation, and decision-making skills
• Core understanding of IT systems and requirements to set and measure cross departmental functional deployment to meet corporate goals.
• Works well under pressure with the ability to prioritize and deliver multiple complex projects simultaneously and under tight timelines.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teams and stakeholders to analyze problems and propose recommended solutions that meet technical and operational business needs.
• Experience in leading and facilitating group process, decision making and prioritization
• Demonstrated ability to proactively problem solve, anticipate needs, drive results and exercise good judgment.
• Software or other tech company experience is preferred
• Comfortable bending between the strategic and the tactical
• Experience in managing distributed team members
