The Manager of Resource Deployment will serve as a key business partner to the Professional Services Leadership team supporting resourcing/capacity strategy & management, Partner strategy, optimizing resource utilization and managing the employee lifecycle of our resources. This role will assess existing staffing practices and create innovative approaches for improved efficiency, including skills management, capacity planning models, and staffing process and policy. You will own the delivery of high-quality staffing solutions that ensure proper alignment of resources to projects leveraging internal employees and partners. This is a remote based / virtual position

This role will drive the team to an optimized staffing model to maximize resources while minimizing staffing lead times in the pursuit of accelerated customer time to value realization. You’ll be challenged to think bolder, move faster, and have a big impact on the effectiveness of both our internal and partner resources.

• Contribute to development of standard operating model and improvement roadmaps, identifying opportunities for improvement and optimization
• Partner with Business Development team to ensure accurate visibility into pipeline for forward looking capacity planning.
• Partner with Services Partner Strategy leader to develop appropriate plans for partner staffing & development and contribute to operational processes for successful onboarding and project management.
• Drive regular cadence around resource utilization, capacity planning, skills management, and subcontract resource needs.
• Establish processes and conformance metrics to ensure high levels of data quality, process consistency, and attainment of staffing service level objectives.
• Successfully negotiate staffing conflicts through creative staffing solutions and alternatives.
• Support resource development plans by driving the framework for assignment and tracking of training activities
• Coordinate with Field Enablement to identify skills gaps and resource development needs that influence learning and development programs.
• Lead, mentor and develop Professional Services Resource Management team to execute the strategy for resource management, foster an environment of continuous improvement, and deliver operational excellence day in and day out.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience in an Operations Management role or Services Management role; Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, operations, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Resource Management, preferably in a SaaS environment.

• Strong leader and development of effective teams.
• Resourceful, results-oriented, and highly energetic
• Requires the ability to build strong relationships and influence change; business partnership mentality
• Comfortable working with senior managers and executives.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks at hand; strong attention to detail.
• Experience with development of operational metrics/measures.
