We are looking for a seasoned manager with expertise in workforce management who will bring leadership, innovation and energy to our dynamic team.

In this role the Presales Manager will provide guidance and direction to the presales team driving excellence throughout the entire sales lifecycle; from product positioning to demos, to solution development in the form of workshops or proof of concepts to executive presentations. He / she is responsible for hiring, onboarding, developing and coaching consultants to meet the goals of the team and the organization. The manager will ensure that the Presales team is properly trained and has access to all necessary technology and documentation.

• Based on sales needs (customer or prospect specifications) matches consultants with sales reps for optimal sale success. Constantly strives for alignment with sales
• Proactively plans staff requirements to support new products, entry into new market segments, and organizational growth
• Monitors consultant’s skills establishes improvement plans and ensures execution of plans
• Conducts on-site observations of each consultant for skill evaluation
• Regularly meets with sales management to secure feedback on consultants and understand areas where presales can influence deals
• Responsible for work load balance among consultants
• Frequently interacts with other presales managers and functional peer groups to share best practices, ideas and assist in projects
• Recruit, hire, and retain presales consultants
• Provide/Coordinate new presales rep training in the field - around topics such as; product training, industry training, ROI/value training, etc.
• Help determine the qualification level and strategy of prospective deals when needed.
• Work with industry marketing and product marketing to provide real world feedback to these teams on trends/gaps the team is seeing.
• Travel up to 50%

Qualifications

• Prior management experience is a must for this position including conducting performance reviews, hiring/termination, and employee motivation.
• Minimum of 10-12 years of related experience including 5–10 years of experience working directly with Workforce Management software, a consulting organization and/or Training Department
• Candidates should possess an understanding of the consultative sales cycle and sales techniques
• Knowledge of/Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus
• Requires particularly strong presentation (either in person or remote) skills knowledge
• Experience in the Workforce Management field is required
• Experience with Corporate Visions or similar business presentation classes required
• BS/BA degree in Business, IT or related discipline OR Comparable experience. MBA preferred.
