The Business Intelligence Manager will lead a technical team of integration and report developers responsible for supporting, maintaining and enhancing the Enterprise Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence platforms. In addition, under your leadership, the team will be responsible for ensuring that all BI solutions are flexible and scalable for evolving business needs. Working in conjunction with other IT Managers you will be accountable for ensuring technical and process integration along with collaboratively evaluating and evolving existing solution standards and IT processes.
Manage a technical team of 8-10 integration and report developers
• Motivate team members to achieve team and individual goals
• Create an environment that enables peak performance from team members
• Primary escalation point for resource, work assignment, solution and/or technical issues
• Establish and enforce solution, development and deployment standards
• Ensure solution integrity through process and system integration with other teams, systems, solutions and process areas
• Ensure all reporting solutions support long-term Corporate goals while delivering maximum incremental short-term benefits
• Participate in the work intake process
• Provide input to the BI portfolio and roadmap
• Ensure all IT process standards are followed
• Proactively recommend improvements for internal IT processes
• Regular review of existing analytics processes to identify best practices and opportunities for improvement

Qualifications

• 5 years of hands-on experience with large-scale projects involving Data Management, Data Warehousing, and Business Intelligence and with an overall experience of 10-15 years.
• Demonstrated understanding of BI methodology and technologies (strong technical backend experience with Microsoft BI Suite, Cognos, Power BI, Informatica etc)
• Demonstrated ability to define and enforce data standards
• Exposure to Microsoft SQL Server Data Quality and Master Data Services is desired
• Proven track record of working successfully in a complex, highly integrated environment
• Working knowledge of leading-edge business intelligence best practices and concepts, e.g. predictive modelling, advanced analytics, etc.
• Experience working in an offshore and onshore model
• Extensive leadership and communication skills (verbal and written)
• Experience operating in a cloud/on-premise hybrid IT landscape
• Thorough understanding of one or more of the following IT methodologies:
o Waterfall, Agile etc
o ITIL
