•Manage and guide/mentor a collections staff and monitor performance as well as execute and deliver regular performance reviews
•Develop and administer credit and collections programs and policies and monitor adherence
•Implement processes to improve cash flow and decrease accounts receivables
•Report key metrics for credit, collections, and leasing. DSO trending by vertical, salesperson, sales manager. Cash Collections by aging bucket (Cash received, credits issued, adjustments) Cash Forecasting modeling.
•Work with I/T staff and to develop, modify, and test custom reports in Oracle and Cognos (Enterprise Data Warehouse- EDW)
•Analyze financial statements of new and existing customers to determine their credit worthiness, appropriate credit limit, and payment terms for sales transactions.
•Potential exposure to lease financing.
•Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly reports for senior management as directed
•Assist internal and external auditors in gathering information requested pertaining to quarterly and annual audits
•Manage small portfolio of accounts receivable for assigned vertical (minimize DSO and delinquency over 90 days).
•Contact customers to obtain promises to pay, follow up on status of payments, or determine reasons for customer's non-payment and escalate if necessary. Possible involvement with escalations team.
•Experience with preference and bankruptcy cases is desired
•Account escalations experience
•Interact with various departments on processes that may impact key deliveries


•Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience in Credit and Collections, and Accounts Receivables.
•Must have direct functional management experience
•B.A. in Accounting or Finance (business)
•Experience and competence in using integrated ERP software, particularly Oracle
•Ability to embrace technology and change
•Proven Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Excel as well as other MS Office product knowledge
•Exceptional internal and external collaboration.
•Strong verbal and written communication skills
•Well-organized, extreme attention to detail and a self-directed individual
•Ability to meet deadlines and work with multiple projects.
•Ability to handle account escalations, which impact cash goals monthly and quarterly
