The Logistics Analyst will report directly to the Sr. Manager Depot Logistics and supports Kronos global operations including worldwide sales, manufacturing, service logistics and corporate operations. The primary function of the Logistics Analyst is to ensure global cost competitive distribution and transportation services of finished goods and effective execution through 3rd party relationships. This position will also define and coordinate import and export activities to meet the requirements of customs compliance programs. This position has no direct reports but is responsible for managing 3rd party relationships.

Logistics Support
• Logistics Liaison between EMS partner and Kronos Order Management and Field sales
• Analyze, monitor and report on activities, trends, results and recommendations relating to shipping/export activities
• Develop and maintain processes to support country specific Commercial Invoice requirements
• Monitor and resolve delivery issues identified through preferred carriers web application
• Freight Administrator – Setup user profiles, train and maintain users on corporate freight application
• Create & manage COC and COO in support of customer requests
• Acting as focal point and advisor for exporting problems resulting in delayed or seized shipments
• Quote and coordinate special delivery requests to support customer requirements
• Develop and document processes and tools for integration of shipping systems to manufacturing and financial systems
• Manage 3rd party supplier shipping activities to ensure export compliance and contract execution
• Develop, manage and negotiate freight services RFP’s
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction/avoidance in conjunction with shipping and logistics activities

Export Management Control
• Establish, monitor and revise corporate policy to ensure compliance with Export regulations through formal EMCP (Export Management and Compliance Program) program
• Obtain and manage Export Licensing and reporting to U.S. Bureau of Industry and Security
• Communicate with export related authorities, customers and suppliers, in all relevant territories and countries, as necessary to ensure efficient, positive and lawful relations, support and activities
• File appropriate reports with the U.S. Bureau of Industry and Security.

• Maintain import/export records in accordance with US law
• Manage export transaction screening of shipments to Denied parties and other relevant lists
• Audit 3rd party documents and procedures to ensure compliance with Kronos policies and ensure compliance with federal and foreign regulations
• Consult with Legal Team on customer contract Logistic commitments

Training and Development
• Develop and train Kronos personnel on shipping and export regulations and responsibilities
• Providing guidance, information and advice regarding export regulations and product classification matters to all Kronos operations
• Research and report on future changes in export laws and in relevant local territory practices, and ensure such knowledge is factored into the Corporate Policies and department's own strategies


• Bachelors degree required
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a Global Logistics Export role
• Expert Knowledge of EAR regulations
• 2 years’ experience in Program or Project Management
• Knowledge of North America Trade compliance
• Experience with shipping from a Maquiladora
• Experience with Oracle
• Ability to demonstrate initiative, exercise good judgment, and achieve results through others
• Professional and effective communication skills across all levels of the organization
• Cost/price analysis experience a plus
• Proficient in the use of Excel, PowerPoint, MS Office
