Lead Software Engineer will be responsible for the active support for all Engineering teams (Dev and QA) for their deployments, upgrades, maintenance, and infrastructure.

• Providing technical support to all Engineering environments, infrastructure, and systems including Shared Services Deployments, upgrades, maintenance and ensuring that there is 24/7/365 environment monitoring for events/alerts so that engineering environments are running effectively at all time
• Ensuring that every reasonable effort is made to restore service as quickly as possible in the event of an outage
• Develop, refine, and document monitoring policies, processes, procedures.
• Understanding deployment infrastructure and Google cloud which would eventually help in troubleshooting and deployment issues.
• Support the Test execution in CI/CD pipeline
• The Technical Support Engineer/Representative provides day to day operations management for the Engineering teams. This role is an intensely operational and requires the incumbent to be conversant with the technologies like Java, Tomcat. PostgreSQL, python. Knowledge of Right Scale and/or Google cloud would be of added advantage
• Actively monitor the Application & Infrastructure in Engineering environments.
• Reactively resolve any incidents that occur and ensure these are responded to promptly, professionally and within agreed SLAs
• Perform validations after scheduled changes within specified Maintenance Windows ensuring the functionalities are up and running as desired


Bachelor degree in Engineering / Computer Science or equivalent experience with 5 - 7 years of experience in a leading Enterprise for environment involving a geographically distributed support model.
• Knowledge of public cloud (AWS, Google)
• Working Knowledge of Linux OS
• Working Knowledge of Postgresql or SQL Server database
• Excellent Debugging / Troubleshooting skills
• Development Tools – GIT(Stash), Jira, Confluence, VersionOne, Artifactory, Gradle, Grunt
• Familiarity with Java build tools - Gradle, ant, maven
