Description

**At least a good understanding of French is required**

The Junior Front-end Software Developer implements the next generation UI in a variety of aspect ratios on a variety of devices. He will work closely with the Scrum Master and other team members to prioritize deliverables and adapt to change. The current project is all about Web development.
Code may be used in commercial or end-user applications, such as materials management, financial management and HRIS. Using the current programming language and technologies, the incumbent writes code, completes programming, and performs testing and debugging of applications.
Responsibilities:
• Actively participate in Agile/Scrum Team processes.
• Collaborate with other members of the team, architects, product managers, QA team members, and documentation writers to ensure appropriate implementation of business requirements.
• Develop our new product features and/or enhance existing functionality which support Kronos' overall business strategy and customer requirements.
• Deliver working software frequently in short iterations.
• Adhere to and drive good engineering practices, such as test-driven development, code reviews, estimation and diagnostic troubleshooting.

Qualifications

Profile:
• Good understanding of French is required
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or in Computer Engineering.
• Internships or some full-time work experience on Front-end development.
• Likes to stay up-to-date on the latest HTML APIs and related technologies.
• Good understanding of current web technologies, JavaScript knowledge, knowledge in HTML5.

Pluses:
• Knowledge of UI development patterns such as MVC and MVVM.
• Experience with one or more JavaScript frameworks, such as AngularJS, JQuery, etc.
• Knowledge/strong interest of node.js, asynchronous programming.
• Java skills or another object-oriented programming language is a plus.
• Knowledge /strong interest in cloud programming (paradigm, techniques, frameworks, etc.).
• Team-oriented, meticulous, rigorous, attention to details, with strong customer focus.
• Possess excellent communication skills, both written and orally.
