Summary:
This position will be a key member of the Corporate General Ledger Accounting team reporting directly to the Manager of Accounting. Responsibilities include preparing journal entries and reconciliations for inventory, royalty and cash accounts along with board and ad hoc reporting.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
•Inventory related:
• Manage inventory sub-ledger
• Process monthly cost changes
• Prepare inventory related journal entries and reconciliations
• Prepare other cost of goods sold analysis and reporting
• Prepare annual other cost of goods sold budget
•Royalty related:
• Participate in quarterly royalty review meeting with internal business partners
• Partner with various royalty-centric business partners to ensure accurate royalty accounting and reporting
• Prepare royalty related monthly journal entries and reconciliations and prepare/submit required royalty vendor reporting
•Cash related:
• Prepare monthly cash-related journal entries
• Prepare monthly reconciliations of corporate cash accounts
•Intangibles related:
• Prepare quarterly intangible assets related journal entries
• Prepare quarterly intangible assets related reconciliations
•Other:
• Assist with the preparation of annual financial statements and footnotes
• Other ad hoc projects as required

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
• 1-2 years’ experience in a general ledger accounting role in a corporate environment
• Strong working knowledge of Excel
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent organizational and communication skills with a high attention to detail
• Knowledge of Blackline Close Management Software and Oracle a plus
