Description

The Consultant is responsible for creating solutions for different US based clients to meet their interfacing requirements with Kronos products in their environment. The interfacing requirements could be creating different kind of output files using Workforce Integration Manager (WIM), creating reports using Crystal, creating workflows using Process Manager, upgrading from lower version of WFC to a higher version. The Consultant should have in-depth knowledge of the WFM database and some knowledge of related tools which will assist in creating these customized solutions.

The successful candidate will utilize the defined implementation process to meet the established implementation milestones and targeted completion dates. He/She will work remotely to implement and support the Kronos Timekeeper Implementation and will work closely with the Kronos Project Managers to complete tasks delegated by the Project Managers toward completing system implementations.

Other responsibilities will include the following customer related tasks:
•Using Professional Services concepts, implement software in various environments.
•Follow the SDLC process to provide the solution for Interfaces:
◦Understanding the requirements from the client
◦Preparing the design document
◦Coding, testing and deploying the interfaces
◦User Acceptance Testing Support
◦Deploy and Release to production environment
◦Final Hand Off to Global Support
•Upgrading existing Kronos customers from lower versions to a more compatible and recent version. This will include porting of the full-suite Kronos implementation and delivering it as a like to like solution. Overall understanding of the Kronos solution is a must for successfully upgrading and deploying the solution.

The Consultant should show the flexibility for taking calls in the evening with the client and the US team members. In certain scenarios, they will be required to support major releases and upgrades during US hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field.
• At least 5-9 yrs of industry experience
• Must have knowledge of either of these modules :Timekeeper, Scheduling, Activities, HR, Payroll
• Having a very good understanding of any WFM product available in the market
• Experience in creating interfaces for upstream/downstream applications.
• Experience in working with SQL relational database management systems. SQL scripting knowledge a plus.
• 1-2 years’ experience in implementing Kronos solution would be a plus
• Domain expert in at least one of the verticals as Retail, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Public Sector, Service and Distribution
• Working experience on WIM/Connect is an additional advantage.
• Some development experience would be useful, though not essential (.NET, JAVA, VB etc)
• Familiarity with XML structures/XSD
• Development tools (for example source control, defect tracking tools, etc.)
