Description

As a Services Learning Instructional Designer, you join a team of professionals in Kronos’ Global Services Operations, Enablement & Technology organization, focused on communicating the value of Kronos’ solutions and delivering to our customers’ business outcomes, through training and educating our field resources. You delight learners with content that conveys ideas and processes in an impactful, engaging, and memorable way, and that teaches them to solve real business problems. You know how to bridge the gap between technical and easily-understood. This is a remote based position.

• Share your passion for developing and delivering impactful and engaging learning experiences
• Rapidly and iteratively design and develop learning content: Instructor-led and self-paced courses, hands-on exercises, guides, job aids, e-learning tutorials, simulations, knowledge assessments & webinars
• Contribute to and participate in project management of learning plans, deliverables, and timelines
• Collaborate with training teams to create and manage learning plans and deliverables
• Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate consulting skills and development, with changes in and improvements to technology and methodology
• Create, support, and validate standards for learning & development around consultative solution approaches that support delivery of successful customer outcomes
• Stay current in training trends and recommend other training media, methods and approaches to foster and implement new ideas for training content design, development, and delivery
• Design and develop training that incorporates adult learning theory, interactivity, and experiential design and training techniques; experience in developing multiple instructional modalities instruction, including instructor-led training, e-learning, blended learning, adaptive learning, synchronous and asynchronous learning

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 3 or more years’ experience designing and developing organizational training; consulting training experience preferred
• Knowledge of human capital management, workforce management, and Cloud/SaaS; Kronos product knowledge preferred; Kronos Scheduling product knowledge highly preferred
• Experience designing multimedia-based training required; visual design capability a plus
• Experience with social learning approaches and platforms
• Highly proficient with Articulate 360 applications, Camtasia, Adobe Creative Suite applications (InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere, etc.), virtual learning environments, and learning management systems as well as Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Excel
• Able to travel up to 20 percent
